Whole-Person Education

As an institute guided by the Church, it is our responsibility to help nurture the whole of a child’s life.

As stated by the Second Vatican Council:

"Holy Mother Church must be concerned with the whole of man's life, even the secular part of it insofar as it has a bearing on his heavenly calling. Therefore she has a role in the progress and development of education." (Gravissimum Educationis, Preface) Education remains critically important in the formation of the human person by teaching how to live well now so as to be able to live with God for all eternity."

A Nativity education is designed to provide students with a well-rounded experience including experimential learning, social engagement, and community-focused activities. Alongside innovative academics, Nativity reaches beyond the classroom with hands-on learning, service outreach, extracurriculars, athletics, and faith formation.

Guided by a passionate and dedicated faculty, students receive a vibrant education in which they develop skills in leadership, independent thinking, compassion, and confidence.

Extracurricular Programs

Extended Care

The Extended Care program at Nativity strives to create a safe, secure, and social environment for students. As an extension of the school day, the same high-standards of classroom care are carried through after school.

Students have access to three areas with full-time staff supervision. The library is available for study and reading while the Extended Care room provides a more casual indoor environment for art, activities, and indoor play. The outdoor areas are divided based on grade level:

  • Preschool: designated classroom and play area

  • K-5: playground with structure

  • 6-8: Blacktop with basketball courts

Students may bring $1.00 to purchase snacks if desired.

Extended Care hours are Monday-Friday from 7:15am- 7:50am before school (Grades K-8) and 3:10pm- 5:45pm after school, with 1:30pm-5:45pm on Fridays.
